White Thyme is a wonderful antiseptic essential oil and an excellent anti-inflammatory. Its main component is thymol, widely used today in mouthwashes, some toothpastes, hand sanitizers and acne medications. (It’s part of the mint family.) It is very strong so never put it directly on your skin without diluting it. A few of the “super powers” of White Thyme follow:
